LeBron Wants Bosh in Cleveland

The Toronto Raptors have told the Cleveland Cavaliers they will do a sign-and-trade with them for Bosh, according to several league sources.

Chris Broussard, an espn reporter, says he thinks LeBron James is leaning towards staying in Cleveland. Chris Bosh wants to play with James but would rather do it in a bigger city than Cleveland.

Tom Withers is tweeting that “Reports of a sign-and-trade agreement with Raptors and Cavs for Bosh very premature. Nothing on table. No players discussed.”

Toronto is probably looking at acquiring a draft pick and Anderson Varejao and/or J.J. Hickson, Delonte West and perhaps Anthony Parker from Cleveland in any deal.

Both James and Bosh are aware that such a trade is possible, and James has tried to recruit Bosh to the Cavaliers several times in the past few weeks, according to sources.

But right now, Bosh remains cold to the idea of playing in Cleveland. Reportedly Bosh wants to play with James, but he wants to do it in Chicago, Miami or New Jersey. As we’ve been told about Cleveland  “It’s bad man” (Joakim Noah).

LeBron James has been tight lipped about where he will be going, and there has been little “credible” news coming from anyone since the season ended. Chris Broussard is the first major writer to put out a report like this, which could be a sign of how things are going to progress.

LeBron is also set to launch a new website LeBronJames.com soon. There is much speculation that any official announcement about where he will land will come first on the site.

For Cleveland: The idea that LeBron is actively recruiting players to come and play in Cleveland is a good sign. Either he is planning on staying here or he cares about the club and wants to leave some players behind.

It is more likely that he is leaning towards staying here and is using his pull to gather the players around him he feels will help him win. We can only hope that this is the case. We feel he will stay here. He has too much vested interest in making Cleveland a Champion.

  2. Wow is all I can say right now. Could this team be better than Jordan’s Bulls?!

  3. Lebron James once called the Savior of Cleavland has now become the black sheep of the family. The city of Cleavland put all of their hopes and dreams on Lebron, who simply wants a championship. Looking at the Cleavland Caviler’s team, Lebron didn’t have much of a choice if he wanted to get back to the NBA finals. The Boston Celtics dropped Cleavland in five games. Orlando beat them last year to go to the finals against LA. Given that there was no improvement in the teams roster, Lebron really stood no chance of getting back to the finals any time soon. So in a word, I give Lebron a pass on his choice to leave Cleavland for South Beach.

  4. Who cares about size? I’d take LeBron’s athleticism over a few extra inches in height any day. Pau Gasol is lanky and gawky anyway…
